It needs to feel like old times

Road trips. The moment I think of it, it brings a gleaming smile on my face. Like right now, that I am writing this, I am smiling end to end. Roadtrips have been a special kind of experience I have had the good luck off doing, several times over, over lakhs of kilometers on my motorcycle. From the meadowns of Meghalaya to the dunes of the Thar Desert, from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. I have travelled a fair bit within India.

An event, an afternoon, near Purshura, a village town, in the interior of Bengal. If I was on a motorcycle, things could have happened.

Just like it could have happened in the border island between Thailand and Vietnam. I was few microseconds away from leaving this planet. I feel I have seen death from very close proximity. I wouldn’t want to go through such a situation in a road trip. Road trips are like temples, places of worship. Its a sacred thing. Wouldn’t want to tarnish it.

While I think of a roadtrip on a 4 wheeler, there are things I need to get acustomed to.

On the long Indian highways you are stuck in traffic with all the other 4 wheelers while you see the other 2 wheelers wriggle their way through. Will road trips even feel fun anymore? It needs to feel like old times, otherwise what’s the point of going on a roadtrip?

Before I close as I can see all the downsides of a roadtrip with a 4 wheeler, I would want to look at the upsides.

  1. 100% remote working.
  2. Park well in advance and lodge for the day/night.
  3. Setup office and complete work ASAP.
  4. Drive in whatever weather conditions. Rains driving can actually be a thing 🙂
  5. Meet interesting people, ask them questions, ask as many questions as you can possibly think of.

In fact, yes, lets do this. I will try to set up a email thing, where you can send in your email and questions over., I will make sure I ask that question to someone or multiple folks. Depending on how good the question is.

So yeah, that’s decided. Need to figure out how to make 5 lakhs in 45 days. (I can provide weekly updates).

Simple goal – Generate 10lacs+ in revenue by building a small team, delivering something of value and creating a sustainable business from the community. This needs to be done and operational in under 60 days. I will provide weekly updates in the form of press release.
