It was a Monday. I was checking the analytics of my experiment website. One thing led to another and I see I am on the pricing page of Microsoft Clarity. Initially what I was seeing in front of me I couldn’t believe. Such a wonderful tool for anyone who wants to measure UX activities, what better than Clarity, that too when it is absolutely free.
I was already chalking out what are the things that I would want to start measuring. Barely had a scratched the surface where I found a free resource which shows website engagement data across various categories. I quickly selected business category vs entertainment/arts category and was amazed to see what the data showed.

In the arts and entertainment genres the site load speed is slower than travel and recreation. Also, it gives very good benchmark metrics like average time per session and pageviews per session.
I feel these are benchmark metrics which can be utilized as a guiding star as we try to carve out a space for ourselves in the market.
Its worth seeing, if you are in charge of managing the web presence for hotels in any geography. See how you are doing when pitted against the industry benchmarks.
Likewise I saw a great LinkedIN post the other day, sharing how to use Claude Skills to generate content ideas from Search Console keyword data. I learnt photography all with the help of the internet. I’m sure, we will know at least 1 individual who is making a living after learning things from the internet.
The internet is a repository of great tools.
Its up to us to utilize our time to learn new things in this ever shifting post AI Digital World.
Till next time,
Thanks
