When does someone book a hotel? Either they need to go on a vacation, or to a different location far from their hometown on business.
Primarily, these might be 2 reasons why any guest may want to book a hotel. In both these cases the user is having to decide only on the basis of information that is present on the internet.
With above context, imagine a world where if you are running a 100+ rooms inventory travel destination hotel/resort, wouldn’t it be great of all 30 people in your hotel showcases life and journey of the property through wonderful photographs? Photographs showing how the various sunsets look like from the property (much like how you see here on Andre’s content)
If you are a business hotel based in a city, imagine there’s an Instagram channel showcasing city life by highlighting the best of the ‘city photographs’ taken by your hotel associates!
That is marketing with UGC. The holy grail of marketing strategy in the digital world, apart from the supreme ‘word of mouth’ strategy. Nothing beats that 😉
Wouldn’t a UGC led content strategy enabling each member of your hotel with the ammunition of photography to create wonderful content be an ideal world?
