How do I market my destination or city hotel?

By creating a segment of customer whom you’ve never talked to before. Imagine this, your official properties Instagram feed has a category of stories called “lights and shadows at heavenly adobe”. (considering if your properties name is “heavenly adobe”).

You can easily see the analytics of the stories being viewed. Do not worry if the views are coming from past or present or future customers. All you are measuring for is engagement. The more engaged your audience, the more they spend time on the platform, the better it is for the platform.

Imagine you have a separate bucket showing happy guests at your property (with permission from your guests, or, maybe report the guest stories).

You have another bucket called as “for creatives”. Over in this bucket of stories, you end up showing the best creative photos and videos that can be taken if someone is staying at your property.

Measure which story category is receiving the highest number of views. Basis on that you can create several offers to promote your property.

E.g. If you see the Creative Category of stories receiving the highest amount of impressions and engagement, have an offer for them on your website. It can be offer where you give them a special rate, in lieu of them sharing few photographs/videos that you can use as a property to market yourself. In exchange ensure the creatives are always checked in to the most content creation worthy room. May be it is the view from the balcony, or from the overlooking end to end glass walls. Ensuring creatives get the best room from where they can create the best of their content, makes them feel valued. In lieu I feel they would be happy to barter few images/videos. And if the service turns out to be exceptionally well, you know these creatives will post great things about your property. That is earned media. Invaluable in a post AI world.
