A use case of virtual 360 photographs in the hospitality industry

Integration of 360 photographs in the booking engine. Instead of photographs, have the 360 photographs. That way a client can actually experience the room in its totality.

This obviously is true if you have rooms that needs to be sold at a premuim. In India market context say somewhere above 5000/-. In Western markets upwards of $350 per night.

Even when hotels have 360 photographs with them, sometimes they are not able to utilize them as the booking engine partner does not render 360.

If hoteliers and booking engine folks can understand the use case and find value in such a positive change, let me know. I can reach out to various booking engine providers and request them to add this feature.

As hotels try to find the right balance between direct and OTA revenue, I can work for you, to see if these positive changes can be made in the ecosystem. I feel if done right, this can benefit everyone associated with the travel fraternity. Guests get a clearer picture. Hoteliers can set better expectations. With these 2 features, hoteliers may want to increase direct booking revenue, thus marketing it more than usual. That will increase the %commisiions you earn as a booking engine partner.

Hua na, sab ka faida? 🙂 (Traslation – Didn’t every stakeholder win in this situation?)
